Delete a search index
DELETE/pipelines/:pipeline_id/search-indexers/:indexer_id
Deletes a search index of a pipeline with the index's table and, for a BM25 index, the stored tokenizer. The deletion is permanent, and a search that names the deleted index returns HTTP 400. A default index cannot be deleted: another index of the same kind becomes the default first. A failed index can be deleted.
The request waits up to 10 seconds for document processing on the pipeline to pause, and returns HTTP 409 when processing does not pause in that time.
Permissions. Write on the pipeline.
Default index shows the requests.

The index was deleted. The response has no body.
The authentication headers are missing or invalid, or the API key is inactive or expired. Errors lists the messages.
No pipeline with this identifier exists or the key lacks write permission on the pipeline (Pipeline with id <id> not found), or the pipeline has no search index with this identifier (Search Indexer with id <id> not found).
The index is a default of the pipeline (Conflict, with Search indexer <id> is a default of the pipeline: make another indexer the default first in details.error), or document processing on the pipeline did not pause within 10 seconds (Conflict, with The pipeline is busy processing documents, try again shortly).
